The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lowell includes the renovation and additions to an existing outdated facility. Located within close proximity to downtown Lowell, the new club will include 65,000 sq ft of space. The new design makes a strong connection with the adjacent Clemente Park and the National Historic Park Canal Parkway.

Spaces will be designed to allow the expansion of services from 300 youth ages 8-18 each day up to 600 youth each day. Program spaces include: a full commercial kitchen and cafeteria; a gym and adjacent fitness rooms; music clubhouse; social recreation rooms; STEM/STEAM spaces including robotics, makerspace, career and college readiness, educational enrichment and homework help.

Five distinct centers (Arts, Education, Fitness, Teens, and Nutrition) are organized around a central Hub, each with their own identity and character.  The Club provides diverse programing dedicated to academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character and citizenship. The new state-of-the-art facility will serve as an inspiration to the young members to learn skills needed to become successful adults and end generational poverty.
